Rio Tinto is one of the world’s biggest mining companies specialises in aluminium, energy & mineral, iron ore, copper and diamonds. As a part of the diamond outreach expansion project, TMG acted as the project leader managing event company and PR agency for the client.

As an approach to expand and raise awareness of the use of smaller diamonds (under 0.3 carats), the project involved jewellery brands and designers to explore the use of smaller diamonds in jewellery and ways to increase customer appeal of such pieces.

TMG Responsibilities

Project management: overall project consultancy, agency coordination and management;
Event management: event planning and execution management with the event agency;
PR: PR agency coordination.
